 | The 5000 series collector is the #1 choice when the requirement is for the highest efficiency year round. The greenhouse design, integrating insulation and glass to trap the incoming UV rays, is excellent in fog belts, windy areas, or locations where winter heating is a must. The Gull 5000 series produces medium temperatures of 120-160º, and it can be sized and mechanically integrated to heat a single or combined application.

In most applications, we recommend use of pressurized tanks, drain-back tanks, heat exchangers, heat transfer fluids, separately or in combination. Collectors are available in standard 4’X 8’ and 4’X10’ sizes. Custom sizes are available. The 5000 series collector is covered by a 20-year full warranty on parts and labor. |

The product is recommended for open-loop installations, except on large commercial projects where the use of a heat exchanger is required. For windy areas an optional wind cover is available for the 4’X8’ and 4’X10’ Gull 4000 panels. The Gull Poly Pro has many superior features over the competition, including multiple slots between the collectors that allow your roof to breathe, and full two-inch interior diameter ultra-flow manifolds with flow-through anti-clogging tubes that decrease wear and tear on the circulating pump.  | The Gull Sun Coil’s simple and economical design has advantages over rectangular flat plate solar collectors. On flat roofs the Sun Coil requires no attachment to the roof—the weight of the water in the collector holds it in place. On tile or uneven roofs the built-in framework lifts the panel off the roof and only one penetration is required to attach each panel. On roofs with triangular and odd-shaped sections where a rectangular solar panel would not fit, the Sun Coil is the only choice. It is available in standard

 | The ProgressivTube® passive solar water heater is a self-contained unit that acts as a solar collector and storage tank integrated into one piece of equipment. In most systems the unit is utilized as a pre-heater to a terminal, instantaneous or conventional water heater.

The ProgressivTube is a passive system because it has no moving parts and operates on local water pressure and solar radiation. There are no pumps or controls to maintain and no electrical energy is required to make it function. Once installed the system will operate automatically. When hot water is used in the household, solar preheated water is drawn into the conventional water heater, reducing or eliminating electricity or gas usage for heating water. However, as with all solar water heaters, the total amount of solar contribution to the system is dependent upon the hot water consumption pattern of the household, daily weather conditions, and variable amounts of available sunlight throughout the year.
